Interlude At The Comic Book Shop #2

Below you will find the results of my having challenged myself for a number of days to write a short story with a beginning and middle and an end inside of 30 minutes. Here is what I came up with. I hope you like it.

“Excuse me.”

“Yes?”

“Is that your son?”

“Yes?”

“Well, he just… relieved himself… on our floor.”

“Oh My God. I’m sorry.”

“Yeah, we tried to get your attention a few times. You were… I think you were busy.”

“I’m so so so sorry. That’s terrible. Oh, Aidan! Oh. I’m so sorry.”

“It’s OK, but please try to keep an eye on him.”

“I will. I’m so sorry. Is there anything I can do?”

“No. We got it covered.”

“I’m sorry.”

“It’s fine.”

“When you’re finished, can you find out if you have TARDIS shirts in extra large? For my husband?”
